Application Architect

Responsibilities:

Study and analyse the latest industry technologies and trends to propose improvements and innovations.
Conduct R&D on development practices, technologies, and tools—including market exploration, solution testing, and proposing enhancements—as well as formulating and delivering relevant training.
Evaluate, select, and recommend appropriate application frameworks, technologies, and platforms to meet business needs.
Develop and lead the implementation of architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Collaborate with development teams to guide design decisions, resolve technical challenges, and ensure adoption of architectural best practices.
Mentor and coach development teams on application architecture, practices, and tool usage.
Support country development teams by addressing technical, process, and tooling issues.
Manage the full application development lifecycle for the group, including planning, project management, design, and development of applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
8-10 years of work experience in application development
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as an Application Architect, Software Architect, or similar role.
Strong technical skills in application development practices, standards, and tools.

Deep understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., SOA, microservices, event-driven).

Application development experience in Microsoft technology stack.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
