Assistant Manager - Environmental Sustainability

Responsibilities:

Develop the framework and roadmap for environmental sustainability to 2030 and 2050, including but not limited to the related goals, milestones, gap analyses and key approaches
Explore and research the available renewable energy and efficient technologies, the corresponding policies, feasibilities and limitations
Propose the renewable energy options, efficient technologies and compose the corresponding adoption plans
Monitor the adoption progress of renewable energy and efficient technologies across the group and suggest enhancement actions when necessary
Develop data analytics, carry out analysis and report the environmental performance
Monitor the compliance statuses of chemical management and wastewater
Conduct the related training and engagement activities

Requirements:

Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, renewable energy or other related disciplines in engineering or science
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, such as environmental monitoring, renewable energy projects or ESG projects
Knowledge in any data analytical tools will be an advantage (e.g. Power BI, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB)
Knowledge in environmental management, assessment, and monitoring, including waste management and general pollution control
Knowledge in environmental sustainability, especially the emerging topics such as renewable energy, carbon accounting and management
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
Oversea travel and travel to Mainland China are required.
