Manager - Communications and Sustainability

Responsibilities:
Sustainability Communications Strategy and Governance
- Oversee the Group’s sustainability communications strategy and mix for internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate the Group’s strategies into clear communication priorities, engaging content and narratives.
- Monitor sustainability trends, stakeholder updates and peer practices to identify emerging opportunities.
Corporate Branding, Reporting and Digital Communications
- Manage the development and publication of the Group’s sustainability reports and related disclosures.
- Oversee corporate websites, social media, newsletters, videos, presentations, advertisements and other communication materials.
- Lead media pitching, publications, speaking engagements, conferences, events, as well as credible sustainability awards, rankings and recognition.
- Develop and execute social media and digital marketing initiatives, including channel planning, content direction, and audience targeting.
Stakeholder Engagement and Group Sustainability Culture
- Develop communication and engagement approaches for managing relationships with key stakeholders e.g. customers, investors, industry organisations, NGOs, media.
- Support external representation at conferences, meetings, visits, and interviews.
- Lead internal engagement initiatives to promote the Group’s sustainability vision and progress.
- Collaborate with corporate functions, divisions, and factories to identify and communicate sustainability achievements and practices.
Issue Communications
- Monitor emerging sustainability issues, risks and external developments.
- Support the development of holding statements, Q&As, briefing notes and communication materials
- Coordinate with management, internal departments and external advisers to ensure timely and consistent communications
Requirements:
- Degree holder, preferably in communications, journalism, public relations or other related disciplines.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience, with supervisory or team-management experience.
- Sound knowledge of sustainability reporting and disclosure standards is preferred.
- Experience in the apparel sector or other multinational business environment is an advantage.
- Organized and proactive, with strong interpersonal, coaching and project management skills.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Occasional travel to the Group’s factories and other overseas locations is required.
