Senior Officer - Sustainability (ESG)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, planning and execution of group-level sustainability strategies, goals and policies - including:
  •  Net-zero roadmap,
  •  Science-based targets,
  •  Renewable energy,
  •  Water stewardship
  •  Circular economy initiatives 
• Monitor and report progress on sustainability goals to top management and the sustainability committee.
• Lead the annual carbon accounting exercise (e.g. scope 3 accounting, inventory verification) 
• Lead the management and enhancement of sustainability ratings (e.g. CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, FTSE and other ESG ratings).
• Develop and execute actions to address gaps and improve sustainability performance metrics.
• Support climate-related risks and opportunities analysis and the associated financial impact assessment study.
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science/ Management/ Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon accounting are required
• Experience in decarbonization strategy development, ESG disclosure frameworks will be advantage 
• Proven track record in ESG ratings management and driving improvement will be advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin 
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer position
